About AILET 2024 – The National Law University (NLU), Delhi has opened the AILET application form 2024 on August 7, 2023. The last date to apply is November 13, 2023 NLU Delhi will conduct the All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) 2024 on December 10, 2023, The AILET 2024 will be held in offline mode, across the country. Eligible candidates looking for admission to BA LLB, LLM or PhD programmes offered by the NLU Delhi must fill out the application form and appear for the entrance exam.

What is AILET Exam?
All India Law Entrance Test, popularly known as AILET is a national-level law entrance exam conducted by NLU, Delhi. AILET exam is conducted for admission to 5-year integrated BA LLB, LLM and PhD programmes. Candidates may note here that NLU Delhi is the only national law university that will not accept the CLAT 2024 for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. AILET 2024 Exam Details
The university has recently changed the test pattern and syllabus for AILET UG and AILET PG. As per the new test pattern, AILET BA LLB 2023 now has three sections – English, current affairs and general knowledge, and logical reasoning. AILET LLM has only two sections – English and Legal reasoning. Candidates can check the overview of the syllabus below.

AILET 2024 courses and seat intake
The university offers a total of 120 seats in BA LLB programme. Out of this, 110 seats will be filled through AILET 2023. Similarly, at the postgraduate level, the university offers 80 seats in one year LLM programme, out of which 70 seats will be offered through the AILET exam. AILET Exam 2023 – Events
Admission notification | AILET 2024 notification will be released around August. The official notification of AILET exam 2024 mentions important dates, eligibility, seats, and exam centres. |
Release of AILET application form | The university will open the AILET application form around the first week of September. The application form of AILET 2024 will be available online at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. AILET application form remain open for around a month. |
Release of hall ticket | The university will issue AILET 2024 admit card to all candidates who have registered and submitted their application fee. The admit card of AILET 2024 will be issued through the candidate portal. |
AILET exam date | The university will conduct the AILET 2024 exam tentatively in December 2023. The exam will held across the country, in offline mode. |
Release of AILET answer key | The answer key is generally released a few hours after the AILET exam. The AILET answer key helps the candidates calculate their approximate marks. |

How was AILET last year?
As per students and experts, the AILET exam 2023, was easy to moderate. The question paper was a bit longer still many students found the paper easy. As per the new exam pattern, the maths section was not included in the question paper of AILET exam. And, legal aptitude was included in the logical reasoning section.
