ULSAT Exam 2023 – Admit Card, Syllabus & Exam Pattern, Result

ULSAT Exam 2023 are being held from April 28 to May 2, 2023. The ULSAT 2023 application process was extended and eligible candidates could submit their ULSAT application forms 2023 for 5 Year LLB till April 28, 2023, in place of the earlier deadline of April 25.

About ULSAT Exam 2023

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun has released the application form for ULSAT 2023 in online mode. The last date to fill the ULSAT application form 2023 for Phase 5 is August 12, 2023. Eligible candidates can register for ULSAT 2023 online from the official admission portal of the university – admission.upes.ac.in/apply. The application form is also available in offline mode. The offline application form can be obtained at the university’s admission office by paying Rs 1,350 as an application fee. The university will conduct ULSAT 2023 in different phases, in online mode, across the country.

The application form of ULSAT has been released and can be filled in both online and offline modes. The last date to fill the application form for Phase V is August 12, 2023.

How to fill ULSAT Application Form 2023?

The online application form of ULSAT 2023 can be filled in five stages, the application process of ULSAT 2023 is mentioned below. 

Registration – First of all candidates need to register online by entering their mobile number and email ID, as a registration ID and password will be sent to the email ID and phone number. It must be noted that the email ID and mobile number must be valid as all further communication will be done with the registered email and phone number only. 

Log In – Once the candidates get the registration done, they have to log in using the login ID and password sent to their email ID. 

Fill out the Application Form – In this stage of the ULSAT application form 2023, candidates have to enter other details like parents’ names, educational qualifications, etc. 

Upload Photograph and Signature – At this stage, candidates have to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature as per the prescribed size and dimension. 

Fee Payment – Candidates have to choose the fee payment option (Online) from the ULSAT 2023 application form and pay Rs. 1350 as fee using a credit card, debit card and net banking.

ULSAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria – For appearing candidates

Candidates appearing in the final year of the qualifying examination can also take ULSAT 2023. However, such candidates will have to produce proof of their age in the form of their class 10th mark sheet. They also need to produce all original documents/certificates at the time of counselling/admission.

ULSAT 2023 Exam Pattern

ULSAT 2023 will be held in the computer-based test (CBT) (or online) mode. Candidates will have to answer 150 questions in 2.5 hours. All the questions are objective in nature and candidates have to select the correct answer option out of the available. 1 mark will be given for each correct answer, while there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. ULSAT 2023 Admit Card

The university will release the ULSAT 2023 admit card a few weeks before the exam. In order to download the admit card of ULSAT, the candidates will have to book a slot for the examination from April 19 to 20, 2023.  The admit card can be downloaded immediately after the slot booking process.

ULSAT 2023 Result

The result of ULSAT will be announced in online mode at its official result portal. Through ULSAT results, candidates will get their ranks and marks scored in the exam. A merit list will be prepared based on the candidate’s marks in the ULSAT result. As per the merit list, candidates will be called for Group Discussions and Interviews. Check more details below.

ULSAT 2023 Selection Process

The ULSAT selection procedure includes qualifying ULSAT exam or direct admission through the non-exam route wherein candidates are offered admission on the basis of Class 12 Board Merit, CLAT Merit or LSAT India Merit scores. 

Around 20% of the seats are offered through the non-exam route. The non-exam (ULSAT) pathways are CLAT, LSAT India merit list or board exam merit list.

Candidates taking admission through exam route (ULSAT) will have to appear in group discussion and interview. For the group discussion and interview, candidates will be called on the basis of their rank in the merit list. The GD and Interview will take place at different venues in the country.  

ULSAT 2023 GD and PI Process

The group discussion and interview will for candidates shortlisted on the basis of the entrance exam. The candidates have to appear in the same at different venues – Lucknow, Mumbai, Delhi, Patna, Jaipur, Bhopal, Kolkata, Dehradun and Chandigarh.
