Delhi University has introduced 5-year integrated LLB Courses. The Bar Council of India, BCI has approved 60 seats each for BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.). The registrations will begin this year on the basis of the CLAT UG 2023 Result.

Delhi University has introduced 5-year integrated LLB Courses. The Bar Council of India, BCI has approved 60 seats each for BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.). The registrations will begin this year on the basis of the CLAT UG 2023 Result. The Faculty of Law, University of Delhi will commence the registration process soon on the official website-lawfaculty.du.ac.in. Candidates are advised to keep checking the website for updates on DU Admissions 2023.
Delhi University Updates
Delhi University Executive Council and Academic Council approved the launch of the Bachelor of Arts-LLB and the Bachelor of Business Administration/Bachelor of Commerce-LLB courses. The application was awaited to be approved by the BCI. Now, after the approval, DU’s Faculty of Law will begin the admission process soon.
BA LLB 5 year program will offer at least three disciplines of arts such as political science, sociology, and economics along with courses in law. While the BBA LLB Course will offer various courses (papers) in commerce, management, and economics disciplines.
Sessions for both courses DU 5-Year Law Courses will take place at the Faculty of Law, Kanad Bhawan, located in the North Campus of the University of Delhi.
DU offered a three-year LLB, LLM (full-time as well as part-time), and a PhD in Law courses. In the wake of improvising legal education and providing affordable education to students, the Varsity decided to launch 5-year courses.
In 2022, Vice-Chancellor Yogesh Singh constituted a Workload Assessment Committee to examine the implementation of five-year integrated LLB programs in terms of assessing the current workload and working out the modalities for running the program.
