CLAT Result Date 2024
In the current year, the Common Law Admission Test is scheduled for December 03, 2023. Following the examination, the provisional CLAT answer key is typically released within a few hours, and a window for objections is made available for a period of two to three days. CLAT Rank List 2023
The Consortium of NLUs will also release the rank list soon after the result declaration. Candidates will be able to download the CLAT merit list and check their all-India ranks. The CLAT rank list is the list of all candidates who appear for the exam.
CLAT 2024 – Tie Breaker Rule
If two or more candidates equal number of marks in CLAT 2024, they will be assigned merit rank following a tie-breaker rule.

How many candidates are invited for CLAT counselling 2024
The consortium conducts the CLAT counselling soon after the announcement of the result. It prepares an invite list consisting of shortlisted candidates. Candidates five times the number of seats available under each category are invited for counselling. This means, around 15,500 candidates will be invited to fill 3100 seats in 5-year integrated LLB courses. Whereas, around 3,300 candidates will be invited for LLM programme. Candidates will be invited on the basis of merit cum preference.
CLAT Counselling 2024
The consortium conducts the CLAT counselling in online mode. Eligible candidates will get sms and e-mail updates about their selection for the counselling. They will have to register for counselling from the CLAT login portal and pay the registration fee. The CLAT counselling fee is Rs. 30,000 for general category candidates and Rs. 20,000 for SC and ST category candidates.
Candidates who participate in CLAT 2024 counselling will be considered for seat allotment in national law universities. Allotment of seats will be based on merit cum preference. Once the seats are allocated, candidates will have the option to accept the seat, apply for an upgrade or exit the admission process. Those who accept the admission offer will have to pay the NLU course fees to the allotted university.

Candidates appearing in CLAT counselling should check the previous year cut offs to know about their admission chances. CLAT Result Analysis 2024
Last year, CLAT result was announced on December 23, 2022, at around 11 am. The result of CLAT was announced online, in the form of scorecards. Abhinav Somani secured AIR 1 in CLAT UG by securing 116.75 marks out of 150. The second and third ranks were secured by Sahil Gupta (112 marks) and Shubham Thakare. Among the top 100 rank-holders, 86 secured admission to NLSIU Bangaluru eventually.
