About CLAT Exam Notification 2024
The Common Law Admission Test, widely known as CLAT, is a centralized entrance examination for admissions to undergraduate (LL.B.) and postgraduate (LL.M.) programs offered by various participating National Law Universities (NLUs) in India.
Conducted annually by the Consortium of National Law Universities, these NLUs are prestigious institutions for legal education in the country, making admission to them highly competitive among aspiring law students. While certain NLUs may consider results from other law entrance examinations, CLAT remains the primary admission test for these institutions.
The CLAT exam assesses a candidate’s aptitude across multiple categories, including proficiency in the English language, general knowledge and current affairs, legal reasoning, logical reasoning, and mathematical abilities. It’s important to note that the exam format may undergo changes periodically.
