CLAT Syllabus 2024: The Consortium of NLUs has revised the official syllabus for CLAT 2024. The syllabus of CLAT 2024 for undergraduates is the same as the previous year’s. However, the total number of questions has been revised and reduced from 150 to 120 in CLAT UG. All the candidates who will be appearing for the CLAT 2024 are advised to check the syllabus for CLAT 2024 .

As mentioned above, there are five sections in CLAT 2024. Each section of the exam has some important topics that will be covered in the exam. The GK & Current affairs part of the CLAT Syllabus is the scoring section. So make sure that you keep all these points mentioned below in mind while doing preparation.

  • The candidates will get 450 words passages in this part. The topics will be taken from news articles, journalistic sources, and other non-fiction works. The GK section of CLAT Syllabus involves a review of legal facts but it is not compulsory to have prior knowledge of legal understanding. You must download and check CLAT Answer Key after it is released officially to cross-check the answers marked by you
  • Each passage in GK of the CLAT Exam Syllabus will be followed by a series of questions that will test your understanding of different aspects of current events and general knowledge. It includes

The legal aptitude section of CLAT 2024 will contain comprehension-type passages of 450 words each. The comprehension-type passages will be followed by objective-type questions. The Legal Reasoning section will test candidates’ skills in General awareness of contemporary legal and moral issues, identifying and inferring the rules and principles given in the passage, applying rules and principles to various fact situations and their ability to understand how changes to the rules or principles may change their application to various fact situations.

This CLAT Quantitative Techniques section of the exam will consist of sets of facts or propositions, graphs, or other textual, pictorial, or diagrammatic representations of numerical information, followed by a series of questions. This section of CLAT 2024 has been designed to test the candidates’ ability to derive, infer, and manipulate numerical information set out in such passages, graphs, or other representations and apply various 10th-standard mathematical operations. Students are recommended to refer to Quantitative Aptitude by RS Aggarwal, Elementary Mathematics with Numerical Ability and Class 10th NCERT Textbook for preparation.
